Overview

Lust according to Ruby:

You read those books where they explain it all away. They make it fine with rationalization. But what if I just want to? What if that's my whole reason? My life is not a romance novel. I don’t need justification. I’m a grown woman who knows what she wants.

I want Ellis. And I want Tyler.

And I won’t apologize...

What’s worse than wanting both your best friend who’s a vampire and the just-back-in-town alpha werewolf you find yourself fixated on? Finding out that the werewolf in question wants you, too. But he isn’t too keen on the sharing part. Oh, and by the way, you’re his dead mate.

Okay, okay, dead is harsh—reincarnated.

What’s worse than that? Realizing that you believe the whole crazy tale of reincarnation. Because it seems to be true.

And yet you still want them both—together. Vampire and werewolf and you in the middle. Stuck between two predators who want you and only you. To complicate it all, you find out that you can have it. With your new/old mate’s blessing. But just one time before he claims you as his.

Are you brave enough to take it? That one shot?

Well...Are you?

    Big Bad

This was one of the sexiest werewolf/vampire books I have read in a long time. I have to admit that it was hard for me to buy the connection between Ruby and Ellis. It was more believable for me that her and Tyler would have been better suited for one another.

However, once there was more time for them to 'connect' it all clicked into place for me. I have to say this is the first book where I wanted the vampire over the werewolf and that NEVER happens. I loved that Sommer wrote a believable erotica story, where the woman wanted both men so she took both men. Where it wasn't all about over analyzing the situation. She was hot for Tyler and Ellis and wanted them both till her own body rejected the idea.

It makes it real. Real people, don't have it easy, they don't fall head over heels the first time. They have relationships before the FINAL relationships. Sommer really drove home that these are supernaturals, animals, monsters, beasts. With all the instincts of those creatures.

    THANK YOU!

I know most people will totally repel this idea. I personally LOVED this idea!

    Another hot one from Sommer!

It's a huge compliment to the author when your only complaint about her book is that you wish it were longer. I loved me some Ellis :) But I always love the wolves. Ty as the tortured vampire was no less appetizing. I'm still not sure how I feel about the ending...wish it could have been drawn out a little longer and in more detail because GAWD knows this villain deserved it. Other than that, this is another hot one by Sommer!
