Row 3: Rep row 2, changing to red in last sc. (Color Notes: To change colors, work last sc until 2 lps rem on hook, finish off old color; with new color, yo hook and draw through both lps on hook — color changed. Then at beg of next row, work over yarn ends for several sts (see illustration).

Rows 4 & 5: With red, rep row 2 twice. At end of row 5, change to linen in last sc.

Row 6: With linen, rep row 2, changing to dark brown in last sc.
