If you were to purchase only 1 book in your hunter's life, this would be the ONE! It is a classic! He/She will not be disappointed. Great gift.

Most hunters will never have the opportunity to track deer in the North woods the way Larry does and will resort to stand hunting. However, the application of tracking will still apply, mainly when scouting for your stand. Most informative book on whitails regarding tracking/scouting and interpeting deer sign. Larry reminds me of my Grandfather's generation of deer hunters... Entertaining... Must Read!!!
