Big Crow and Little Pumpkin are fun characters who star in a series of improvised tales written and illustrated by Australian illustrator Leigh Ashley Ryan. This non-sequential story was entirely made up one night at bedtime as a way to delight and surprise the young minds of his two daughters, who wanted an engaging and original account (Which will explain why the words "stinky" and "potato" are used so often). We hope this book will amuse and entertain young listeners and older readers alike.

Born in Geelong (Australia) and raised in Bannockburn (Also Australia), Leigh is an illustrator of some renown, a 2D animator of some skill and a genuinely funny guy. Intelligent, driven and truly passionate about the process, Leigh loves the possibilities that can arise when working on a new project. Leigh has worked for commercial companies such as Toyota, Coca-Cola, and Aeroplane Jelly and has worked on animated TV shows for Galaxy Pop (Get Ace), Working Dog (Pacific Heat) and The Grossery Gang (Moose Toys/Cartoon Network). Leigh once embarrassed himself in front of celebrated radio host Waleed Aly and Oscar-winning animator Adam Elliot on live national radio. He hopes to one day write a novel about this experience and burn it.
