This title has been honored by approval for the system-wide order list used by Hawaii's public libraries when making acquisitions. In these challenging economic times such decisions aren't taken lightly.
This book is much more than just a restaurant guide. Very educational explaining the different cuisines in Hawaii, a glossary of Hawaii foods and culture, easy to look at legends. As a Maui business owner I can hardly wait for my next trip to the Big Island to try some new restaurants.
What a WONDERFUL guide to have. It eliminates a lot of the guess-work as to where to eat. I am sure anyone going to the island would benefit greatly by having this book in their luggage. These authors have written other fantastic guides for the other islands also...check them out! I think locals would also enjoy reading about others restaurants not in their town.
