This workbook addresses so many skills that kids need for kindergarten. The activities focus on: before, after, which belongs, which does not belong, similarities and differences, patterns, ABCs, story sequencing, number concepts, more than, less than, mazes, hidden pictures, and more! My son enjoys it so much that I have to set a limit on the number of pages we can do each night or else he'll never go to bed! He even made sure I told the babysitter how many pages in the 'blue book' he was allowed one night!

My preschooler has learned shapes, colors, numbers, and letters. This book is excellent in engaging her to learn and apply her skills. Her letter and sound recognition is enhanced both through visual and tactile exercises. There are sound matching exercises, hidden pictures, pattern recognition, and word associations. Exercises to engage her now and in the future.

I bought the preschool version when my oldest daughter was 2.5, she loved it and wanted to work on it everyday. Right after she turned three we started this book and she is still in love with it! She is more than half way finished with this workbook and I think I will be able to buy the first grade one after she turns four. I really love these workbooks and I already have my two year old twins working on the preschool version. I always recomend these books to fellow moms, give them a try.

When my granddaughter graduated from preschool I gave this workbook to her as a gift. She enjoyed picking out a few pages each day to complete. Plus, it was a good quiet time activity during the summer ;-)
