In this adventure, Mrs. Godfrey catches Nate drawing cartoons during social studies which results in his detention. Mrs. Czerwicki from detention unknowingly inspires Nate with the idea of starting a cartooning club. Now, Nate is the president of his school's cartooning club and he puts his talents to better use. He also takes up the challenge to find a way to win against Public School 38's rivals, the students of Jefferson Middle School. The Jefferson Cavaliers win competitions constantly according to Nate. To top it all off, P. S. 38 suffers water damage due to an electrical problem and malfunction of the sprinkler system. During the restoration of their school, Nate and the students at P. S. 38 are temporarily placed in the portable classrooms at Jefferson Middle School. Although they are in awe of the Jefferson facilities, Nate and his friends miss their school. Readers of Kinney's "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" series will probably enjoy the antics and fun of the "Big Nate" series.     It's very funny and it's good for third and fourth graders with

    It's very funny and it's good for third and fourth graders with nothing to read. There's not that many words but very funny and lots of cartoons. So if you're looking for a good book in third or fourth grade you should read this! And it's also a good series to read because on like every new Big Nate book when they come out it always says a new Big Nate's coming soon with a preview in the back.

    I'm so confused why does Nate let Arthur in the dodderers and not say anything about him!!!
