Big Rock'n Beats

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - John Bush
TVT's 1997 electronica compilation spotlights mainly British producers, featuring names both well-known as well as obscure. Fatboy Slim, Bentley Rhythm Ace, Meat Beat Manifesto and Jedi Knights represent, with uptempo tracks which push all the right buttons for rock fans but may leave electronic listeners a bit bored, while the Chemical Brothers also appear through a remix of the Deeper Throat cut "Mouth Organ." There are much better compilations on the market, but Big Rock'n Beats still manages to be a compunctual introduction to dance music.
