About the Author

Lisa Bradshaw is a mother, cancer survivor, widow, and philanthropist. She is the founder of The DON'T WAIT Project®, a non profit organization urging us to revisit people, places, dreams, and ideas that may have long been forgotten. Bradshaw hosts her own terrestrial radio show, The Life with Lisa Show, and has been a guest on national television and radio, including The Rachael Ray Show and Oprah Radio. Her designs and her story have been featured in numerous magazines, including InStyle, Working Mother, and Parents. She is welcomed speaker on topics ranging from motherhood and surviving single life to patient advocacy and organ donor registry awareness.

Nearly eight years after the death of her husband, Bradshaw is now stronger, happier and eager to share what can be gained when one is willing to learn from the unimaginable. Bradshaw lives with her family in Washington.
