I thought this book was really hot, but it ended abruptly and was too short....about 140 pages. Wish N&N would put the tptal pages on the synopsis like Amazon does.

This is the first collaboration from Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde that I have read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I will certainly be looking to read their other books as soon as my TBR becomes a bit more manageable. Wes Sinclair is is confident, arrogant and extremely sure of himself; he is also in lust with Natalie Prescott who happens to be the younger sister of his best friend. Wes is know as a love them and leave them kind of a guy, smoking hot and a player. Natalie has been in love with Wes since she was a young girl but has no intention of falling for his charm. Natalie wanted to work with Wes and Connor in their company but Wes was adamant that family should not work together and Connor bowed to the pressure. However, Natalie is not content and has done her best to get under Wes's skin in the best possible way by beating him at his own game and becoming almost as successful as Wes, much to his surprise. When a bet between Wes and Natalie becomes more complicated than either expected, be prepared for fireworks. The chemistry between these two is smoking hot and there are certainly some laugh out loud moments as these two do their best to one up each other. When Natalie loses the bet, the intensity of their feelings build to the point where I thought they were going to burst into flames. I loved the camaraderie between Wes and his business partners, the depth of their friendship is obvious, particularly between Wes and Connor. However what will happen when Wes and Natalie can no longer fight their attraction for each other and finally surrender to their feelings? Will Wes's friendship with her brother Connor be at risk? It was interesting to see that player Wes, in the end really needed Connor's approval before he could commit to Natalie. I am looking forward to reading more on this series.

Natalie has had the hots for Wes since they were younger. Growing up, she chased him around with her brother. Always wanting in to the secrets and fun. Now, she wants to work with him. Wes refuses to budge on the work issue. He knows if she is around everyday he will give in to his baser desires. The attraction between them is fierce and taking a life of its own. How much longer before they both erupt into flames? This is such a fun story. The characters really do care about one another and it shows. They have known one another since they were kids and there is respect and already a bond. Great start to the Book Boyfriend series! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review.

Wes Sinclair is a highly successful realtor. Natalie Prescott is new agent that is doing everything she can to prove her worth. Her ultimate goal is to work in the firm Wes co-owns. Natalie is Wes's best friends, Connor's sister. That alone makes her untouchable. Wes's past plus his attraction to Natalie makes it impossible for him to allow her to work in the firm. I love that this story is told by both Wes and Natalie's points of view. The things that Natalie does to get under Wes's skin are absolutely hilarious. I also love the character of her best friend, Richard. He adds in another layer of humor. It doesn't take long for the sparks between these two to explode. Very sizzling sex. This is a very well written book that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. This is the first book of a great new series, Book Boyfriend co-authored by Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde. Two amazing authors.

4 1/2 STARS! A new series by Carly Phillips & Erika Wilde kicks off with a bang! It’s sexy hot, it’s fun and it’s fresh! Loved the characters and it was a blast to get to catch a glimpse of the Kincaid brothers! Wes Sinclair is a legendary lady’s man. He doesn’t commit or make promises, he just bluntly says what he wants and walks away once he gets it. No surprises there! Natalie Prescott is his best friend’s little sister and they all grew up together. He tries to hide his lust for her from his BFF, but it’s getting harder and harder to keep under wraps. When a friendly competition opens up the doors for a little propositioning, Wes and Natalie embark on a secret fling. Will they burn up the sheets and then walk away, or will this be the one woman Wes can’t get out of his system?

I have officially found my favorite book girlfriend for the year. I LOVE Natalie (or Minx as Wes calls her). She is feisty and definitely not afraid to test Wes. Poker night was my favorite scene in the whole book! Wes wasn't so bad himself. For a self proclaimed player he really was in it for the long shot whether his brain realized it or not. I will miss this couple but gladly recommend them to other fellow book lovers!

Let's combine 3 of my favorite things: Carly Phillips, Erika Wilde, and a best friend's little sister trope. Good! Now, you've got Big Shot, and I strongly demand you go read this book. It is fresh, witty, and ridiculously sexy. Wes Sinclair and Natalie Prescott aren't you normal unrequited love pair. The bring friendly competitiveness to a new level which just serves to amp up the chemistry between them to a whole new height, one that will have you reaching for your fan and/or lover. What lies under their tumultuous passion is a cleverly written repartee between the business adversaries. What begins as a friendly competition soon leads to higher stakes with their hearts on the line. Wes brings an equally intense and endearing alpha attitude to the table while Natalie brings a strong, sweet and wily character. Together the two fit like perfect puzzle pieces that happen to have the same ended magnets on them. They don't want to want each other the way they do, but their dance of ebb and flow enticed and excited from the get-go. Hands down, you must read Big Shot. It might be my new favorite from Carly and Erika. For sure that french maid outfit scene has been burned into my memory in a delicious way. I am beyond excited about the future books that are to come from Wes' friends! Happy Reading! *ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review*

This book is everything I've come to expect from this dynamic duo. It's a fun, sexy story with amazing, well developed characters. This is book one in A Book Boyfriend series and it stars Wes Sinclair and Natalie Prescott. The story line runs smoothly throughout and is told with a sexiness only these two authors can do. The chemistry between Wes and Natalie is almost tangible. You could see the sparks fly whenever they were near each other. They only had one BIG problem…Connor. This is a great series opener! Definitely looking forward to book 2.

Oh Em Geeeeeee!!!!! Wes Sinclair and Natalie Prescott are perfect for each other. He is a sexy, cocky, alpha male who is the best at his job and she is a sassy, independent woman who has been in love with him since she was a young girl. A bet, a proposition, a consensual and mutually satisfying affair and the mighty fall hard and it is fun to watch it happen. This is the start of a new series and if this is any indication, this is going to be another spectacular one! **Received an ARC copy for review**

Wes Sinclair keeps getting bested in business by his best friend's little sister, Natalie Prescott. They are both high end realtors in the Chicago area. Wes declined to allow her to work with his firm so she is now doing everything in her power to show him what he's missing. She has no idea he said no because he can't handle her being around him in her short skirts and sexy silk shirts. They decide to make a bet over the next listing. Just who wins the bet and at what terms? And how will it change their relationship? This was a great read and I love seeing couples from other books making an appearance in this one. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

BIG SHOT is the first installment the contemporary, adult erotic, BOOK BOYFRIEND romance series co-authored by Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde. This is hot shot realtor Wes Sinclair, and up and coming realtor Natalie Prescott’s story line. BIG SHOT was originally released under the title HOT AS SIN. Told from dual third person perspectives (Wes and Natalie) BIG SHOT follows the building relationship between two real estate agents Wes Sinclair and Natalie Prescott. For most of her life Natalie has been in love with her brother Connor’s best friend Wes Sinclair. A successful realtor selling million dollar listings Wes is the man to beat when it comes to the competition. Natalie’s chart climbing sales are in direct competition to her brother’s friend, and it doesn’t help that Wes refused Natalie’s request for a position with his firm. When Natalie finalizes a sale that once belonged to Wes Sinclair, the two make a bet that Natalie is determined not to lose. What ensues is a two week payment wherein our heroine will lose her heart to a man who wants nothing more than the present and a good time. The relationship between Natalie and Wes is one of life-long attraction but Natalie is Connor’s younger sister, and for all intents and purposes is off limits to Wes Sinclair. Natalie has secretly been in love with We Sinclair for most of her life but the man refuses to see her as more than the ‘brat’ she was growing up. When Natalie loses a bet placing herself in a two week position to do everything that Wes wants, our heroine is determine to drive Wes crazy and out of his mind ensuring he will never forget that she is no longer the little girl from years before. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and seductive with a little bit of ‘spanking’ on the side. We are introduced to Wes’s best friends and business partner, as well as Natalie’s brother-Connor Prescott, and fellow realtor Max Sterling, as well as Natalie’s best guy friend and agent Richard Weller. I am hoping for a story line featuring Richard and someone he can love. The world building focuses on the ‘payment of debt’ when Natalie loses a bet to Wes Sinclair. Wes’s attraction to Natalie increases with every encounter but Natalie is determined to walk away before the heartbreak of love- an offer from out of state finds our heroine considering her options. BIG SHOT is a flirty and sexy romance between two people who have lusted after one another for years. The writing is seamless; the story line flows evenly as the two authors blend their talents for a magnificent story. The premise is heartwarming and enjoyable; the romance is passionate and intense; the characters are energetic and playful.

I always love it when Carly and Erika get together and write a book. They are always SO sexy, steamy, fun, and swoon-worthy. Big Shot was one of my top favorite troupes also!!!! The forbidden best friends little sister. Wes and Natalie sure fought against their attraction for a long time. So much so they considered themselves "frenimes". I loved watching Wes fall in love. It's always the best when the ones that resist relationships the most fall the hardest. These two had extremely sexy chemistry and their love story is one I'll remember for a long time to come! Happy reading!

Working that magic that they do so well, authors Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde have done it again. Being the seasoned writers that they are, working together just seems to bring out the best in both of these ladies, as shown by their latest, BIG SHOT. With no positive examples of love to draw on in his life, Wes Sinclair is most definitely not in the game of love for the long haul. Oh, he enjoys his fair share of women, but he's absolutely not looking for a happily ever after. And, while he's long had the hots for his best friend's little sister, Wes knows that nothing can ever come of it. Yes, Natalie Prescott is smoking hot, and yes, she pushes Wes' buttons like no other, but Wes knows better than to break the Bro Code, not even for Natalie. But, wait, there's more... Yep, so much more. Because, sassy, spunky, realtor on the rise Natalie knows just how to get a rise out of Wes, in more ways than one. When a friendly little wager ends up with Natalie at Wes' mercy for two weeks, how in the world are these two not going to give in to the passion that has been smoldering between them for forever? I really like Wes. Sure, he's is a player, but it doesn't take him long to open his eyes and figure out exactly what's important to him (a little kick in the pants from best friend Connor notwithstanding). He's always viewed Natalie as the pesky little sister, the 'frenemy' that he enjoys sparring with, but seeing Natalie as the capable, successful, passionate young woman that she's become is an eye-opener for him. Keeping it casual as usual just isn't going to work, because the heart wants what the heart wants. And, Natalie, before too long, is what Wes' heart wants. Natalie is a breath of fresh air. She's determined to have the life that she wants and the success that she deserves, and she's not waiting around for anyone to hand these things to her. She's loved Wes for as long as she can remember, but is not fooling herself into thinking that he's the one, because she knows him so well. But casual flings aren't for everyone, and that hold that Wes has on her heart isn't about to let Natalie do the easy breezy thing. I love that she is strong enough to pick herself up and forge ahead, even while nursing a fair bit of heartbreak. The sizzle between Wes and Natalie is white-hot, but it's the humor, the friendship, the easiness of their relationship, as things progress, that really make me enjoy them so much. Carly and Erika have done a lovely job of showing their bad boy just how sweet surrender can be, no matter who's giving in. 4.5 steamy, sassy, sweet stars for BIG SHOT. This is definitely one to add to your TBR list.

Hot! Hot! Hot! Wes Sinclair is Hot as sin and Natalie Prescott is a minx and they have known each other since childhood. The chemistry between the two of them is smoking. Wes has been on the top of his game in the realty business and Natalie keeps out doing him. So what does Wes do makes a wager with her. Who wins, what's the stakes can they stay away from each other. This is a great beginning of another great series from Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde. Cannot wait for the next book in this series and it was great to read the cameo's of some of the other characters from the Dirty Sexy series, although you didn't have to read them.

**Review copy provided by the authors for an honest review** Wes Sinclair is known for being the guy that no woman can resist and the one that won't commit to just one woman. He plans to stay single and it isn't for the reasons that most would guess. The one woman that gives him a run for his money is his best friends little sister, Natalie Prescott, whom he's known since they were children. Natalie is doing her very best to get her career off the ground and all she's wanted is to work for her brother's real estate company, but when Wes vetoes that idea because of his own insecurities, it forces her to make it at another company which puts her in direct competition with the one man that stars in her wildest fantasies. Natalie seems to be the one woman who does not succumb to Wes' flirtation and charm, but when the two of them enter into a bet, Wes is determined to not only win, but to bring her to her knees. Will Wes win the bet and get his way? And will Natalie give in to charming bad boy? Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde penned a great story with wonderful characters and it was definitely steamy! I'm really looking forward to the next book in the Book Boyfriend's series!

Wes Sinclair had it going on that's for sure but the perfect book boyfriend was best friend Richard. Wes was "dream man" material with his sexy smile, arrogant demeanor and bedroom charm, however Richard with his smart mouth, hearty devotion and sense of humor was addictive as well. Natalie had it made on both sides of the spectrum. A good thing Richie boy was gay because Wes would have had some stiff competition. Big Shot had me in stitches when I wasn't salivating over the fireball that is Wes and Natalie. The battle of wills became a showdown of the heart. Ms. Phillips and Ms. Wilde are the power duo of the romance world. They seem to always get it right.
