All Music Guide - Matt Collar
The self-titled debut album from the Nickelodeon boy band Big Time Rush features many of the dance-pop tunes popularized on the band's TV show of the same name. Showcasing the talents of singers Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos Pena, Jr., and Logan Henderson, BTR is a fairly accessible listen that falls somewhere between the soulful alt-rock of OneRepublic and the electro-influenced pop of Katy Perry. These are catchy, sweet, radio and club-friendly tracks that, while aimed at "tweens," should appeal to most any fan of well-crafted dance-pop. To these ends, you get the synth-driven leadoff track "Til I Get Over You," the head-bobbin' "Boyfriend," and the yearning club ...

    Most excellent!

This CD is great! The guys sing really well, the songs are well-crafted and memorable! This music appeals to those over twelve, too! A must buy!

    Totally rocks!

I highly recommend this album. I am only 8 years old and consider myself their #1 fan. I like Kendal the most of all. I love their songs. Kids enjoy listening and older people can also listen to it. My mom say the BTR reminds her of boy bands from the nineties.Forget about you is the best single of all. It is so hip and trendy. Anyone can dance to it. BTR totally rocks!

    I love BTR

The best songs I've heard in a long time. Most are love songs. Several songs remind me to get off my duff and live my life to my best and that I can't sit still and live my life. Basically live your life like it's the last day of your life. I love it!

    Awesome, but disappointing

I LOVE Big Time Rush, and this album is AMAZING!!!!!!!!! But, not all the season one songs on it, which disappoints me. The songs from "Big Time Dance" and "Big Time Horrors" were my two favorites, and neither of them are on this album.

    Highly Recommended

I love this! The songs are good, influential, and some are sad.The sad,
lovingly-sung "Worldwide" and the energetic, fun "Oh Yeah" make it really good.I think because of this,BTR will be at the top of the charts in a little while.
