A James Beard award-winning chef, Cheryl brings a flavorful and fresh approach to eating for weight loss with a special emphasis on anti-aging. She is the author of Positively Ageless: A 28-Day Plan for a Younger, Slimmer Sexier You (Rodale, 2008). Cheryl is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. She lives in Napa.

Melissa Roberson is the editor of BiggestLoserClub.com, the website that offers food, fitness, and exercise tips. THis is perhaps the best loser "cookbook" or "food/diet" book yet. Instead of trying to put you on all new dishes or a new meal plan, it takes what you like and already do - and re-invents it. So it is very practical - and helps you deal with temptation of dishes you want - and adjust them so you can have them with a lot less cost in terms of calories, sugars and carbs. And that feels comfortable too. It really guides you with simple ways to innovate and calibrate - and some of the dishes you re-invent are great. Even if you don't go the whole way substituting certain veggies for pasta, it all helps. And often saves money at the same time! I started using it last week (got a secret advance copy!) and it is pretty impressive, and I have lost 4 pounds already. There are some good new recipes beyond the swaps, and lots of advice from BL participants and trainers. Kudos to Cheryl and Melissa - the books get better and better in content and style.

This book has helped me in my weight loss efforts. I know many critics love to bash the Biggest Loser show, but the books and weight loss program are excellent. Sound nutritional advice. I like the ideas presented in this book for swapping higher calorie/lower nutritional foods for more healthy options. Whether you're dieting or not, this book has good ideas in it to help anyone make healthier choices.

The book was filled with alot of different ideas and ways to look at things. Positive language and encouragement throughout the book. Well worth the money if you are trying to lose weight.

I found the information and the recipes in this book very helpful. You don't have to be a fan of the show to learn some helpful changes for ones life and ones eating habits. It's a life's journey and this book will help

Haven't finished reading this book, however, I"m excited to try all the recipes. It is fun and uplifting to see other individuals suceed in choosing a healthier lifestyle. Makes one believe they can achieve the same results with consistent determination.
