An diese kurze Einleitung schließt sich im ersten Teil der Arbeit eine theoretische Auseinandersetzung mit dem Thema an. Dort soll die Thematik eingeführt und anschließend kritisch im Bezug auf die Qualität von Unterricht betrachtet respektive deren Stärken und Schwächen abgewogen werden. Auch was Bildungsstandards und Kompetenzmodelle für Schule und Unterricht im Allgemeinen bedeuten, soll hier kurz aber dennoch differenziert beleuchtet werden.
Im Zweiten Teil folgt eine praktische Auseinandersetzung mit dem Thema. Hier stehen didaktische Überlegungen und Intentionen im Vordergrund. Es wird zunächst eine Unterrichtsreihe von fünf Stunden zum Thema Judentum didaktisch geplant und tabellarisch skizziert, die sich an dem Kompetenzmodell der einheitlichen Prüfungsanforderungen in der Abiturprüfung Evangelische Religion (EPA) orientiert. Anschließend folgt die Feinplanung der Auswahlstunde, in der eine dieser Stunde detailliert ausgeplant, begründet dargestellt und in einer Tabelle zusammengefasst wird. Hierbei handelt es sich um die erste Stunde, also die Einführung in das Thema Judentum.
Im letzten Teil der Seminararbeit folgt ein persönliches Resümee, das über die Schwierigkeiten aber auch die Einsichten berichten soll, die während des Schreibens dieser Arbeit entstanden sind oder gewonnen werden konnten.
