Sandra Edwards does it again! Three stories of misunderstandings

Sandra Edwards does it again! Three stories of misunderstandings, loyalty and of course love that will keep you turning the pages until the last word is read. We are introduced to the de Laurent family-Julian, Andre and their sister Lecie. To get away from their controlling father, each of them look for unique ways to break free and be independent of Maurice's influence. The marriage-of-convenience stories are masterfully written reeling the reader in to enjoy swoon worthy heroes as they navigate the sea of love. Nothing comes easy to any of them and we feel their frustration, heartache and finally love. I enjoyed all three of these stories, but my favorite was of Andre and Tasha in The Marriage Caper. If you're looking for a wonderful way to spend the day, look no further than The Billionaire Games. They will leave you believing in the magic that love conquers all. Highly Recommended.

    Thoroughly enjoyable

This series was hard to put down. Some laughter, some tears. This is what story-telling is all about. Highly recommended.

    Loved this Set

Great read. Loved reading about Julian, then Andre and finally Lecie. Story line is good. I really enjoy reading boxed sets and this one didn't let me down. Sandra you need to write one more story about Diedre and Dean!

    Get real...or at least real-ish!

I'm usually the first one to give a book every chance to "prove" itself, to read beyond the sometimes awkward introductory stuff to where the story can flow. In this case however, I didn't make it more than two chapters in!

First, the heroine is ignorant in soooo many ways. She's supposedly a hard-hitting reporter, an ivy-leage graduate and has some connections in her world. She doesn't know that 'cherie' is French for 'darling'? She allows her boss to threaten her career and meekly crawls to Mr Hero to make the most sideways demands. If she's really lost her job and had this whacked opportunity, why didn't she just tell the guy her situation, ask if the position is still available, then negotiate from there.

Second, the guy didn't even have her background checked out? He's contemplating having this strange woman share his life for the next half year, yet goes along with her cover story of barely-getting-by actress. Any wealthy person's first act would be to look for whatever they could find out about the person before letting them get so close to their assets.

I find it hard to believe all the fantastic reviews for this bundle when, having read only a few pages, I find myself shaking my head in disgust and am unable to achieve the "suspension of disbelief" (which I usually have no problem reaching) necessary to enjoy this story. I really tried to push past the blatently unreal interactions...with no luck in finding any features that might redeem the story for me.

Enjoyed the books, however I think the concept of 3 siblings having to fake marriages for one reason or another is bazaar and unbelievable, I don't think the books should have been bundled, the storys would have stood alone.
