    I Also Recommend:

You Should Get His Autobiography Instead, but This Book Isn't Too Bad, Either

This biography about the pioneering baseball star turned famous evangelist is a book aimed at older kids, but it still takes many hours for an adult to read, and it will tell you the major points of the life of Billy Sunday. As a kids book, it doesn't cover any of the criticisms against Billy Sunday.

Actually, I would instead recommend a similarly sized book, Billy Sunday's autobiography, culled from a series of magazine writings in the 1930s, title "The Sawdust Trail," which covers all the main points of this kids book, but comes straight from the preacher's mouth. It is also suitable for older kids to read.
