Gain insight into the essentials of bioanalytical chemistry, and learan many of the techniques commonly employed by biochemists and molecular biologists. This book includes entire chapters on design and implementation of enzyme assays, mass spectrometry, and validation of new methods. Each chapter progresses from basic concepts to applications involving real samples and ends with a set of problems (answered in the appendix). The authors kept mathematical derivations to the minimum needed for an understanding of each method, but include a list of suggested readign for futher information.
