The album also includes detailed liner notes with track-by-track commentary by Stansfield herself, making it a must for die-hard fans and an excellent primer for casual listeners.

I've been all around the world

And I can't find my baby. It's my favorite track on this collection. This is a fine assortment of Lisa's work. Covering selections such as "Take off your boots when you step in this house" and "Jerry Springer never did a thing for me", this anthology will whisk you away from your worldly concerns. If the mood strikes you, pour a whole bottle of gel into your hair and comb it all forward, then don yourself a silk black suit. Strut around the house to favorite cuts like "Don't forget that sandwich that I made for you when you leave for work in the morning" and "Slip inside this sleeping bag of mine" (featuring ZZ Top). Although this collection leaves a couple tracks off (her duet with Ru Paul on "Nothing Lasts Forever"), I recommend this to anyone who likes to reminisce on the 80's blue-eyed soul scene.
