A great book to read and recall what you learned once. Not if if I had not taken the college course if it would have been as easy to get through. I liked it! Color graphics would certainly enhance this books effectiveness.

    Confusing NOT EASY

This text does not contain easy to understand instruction as it states it does. As a matter of fact, it contains vocabulary that is confusing not simplified. If you understand biology you would not need this book. You buy the book to simplify the terminology not make the subject more confusing. For example the book states: The balanced number of charges is the atomic number. When you search atomic number on the internet- the internet states: The atomic number is simply the number of protons in its nucleus. Now why didn't the book just say that? The book also eliminates some vocabulary words. It uses the words but does not define them. An example: neutrons. Finally, the free online diagnostic test that is suppose to pin point your areas of strength and weakness as well as, check your progress and readiness for the exam is non-existent. When you enter the site it redirects you to a website to purchase the books.
