I loved Biplanes, Triplanes, and Seaplanes. I especially liked the detailed description of the planes. On the bottom of the page, there was information on the plane, such as Country of Origin, where it was produced, it`s armament etc. I would reccomend this book to any history fanatic.

This is a book that is worth the few bucks I paid for it, and not a penny more. It is NOT a comprehensive, nor even measured, guide to early aircraft, but would be a nice little addition to an aviation library that's already fairly complete. . Many major biplanes (particularly American) are omitted, while obsessive detail is lavished on comparatively trivial British biplanes. The seaplanes angle is questionable, and modern light seaplanes, despite their numbers worldwide, are just not there. Nice add-on to your aviation reference library, because it DOES include hard-to-find details on some historic and obscure aircraft. . But the specs are minimal, and the text extremely brief. Pictures (a single side-view drawing/painting of each plane) are a bit small and require squinting for details. (This appears to be one of B&N's half-size miniature printings of a full-size book.)
