    excellent, in-depth resource

Bipolar disorder is so often stigmatized, misconstrued, and generally misunderstood that it is an enormous relief to find such a comprehensive guide to better understanding it. This book articulately addresses tough subjects like suicide prevention with grace, empathy, and tact. Also of note is the admirably objective section on rapid cycling bipolar disorder, a subtype of the illness that is probably most often overdramatized and stereotyped in popular culture.

    Highly Recommend

My sister was displaying symptoms that I thought was related to Bipolar Disorder. I wanted to do some research before I confronted the family and I came across this eBook. This eBook has everything you want to learn about Bipolar Disorder from symptoms, diagnosing, to even providing available resources. Great book and very easy to read for the everyday person.

    i love this book

This book is one of the most excellent books for bipolar disorder. My boyfriend has bipolar disorder and it really helped me understand him more and how to cope with him sometimes. It made me realize its more than a mental health illness. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who has a friend or relative with a bipolar disorder to help understand him/her better.

    Excellent referance and guide

This book is amazing. My friend has bipolar disorder and reading this book has taught me that bipolar disorder is not who she really is but an illness. This book has helped me realize that bipolar disorder is much broader than a mental health illness, it is a disorder.

    What is Bipolar Disorder?

Bipolar Disorder, by Paula Ann Denila, R.N., is a valuable source of reliable information regarding bipolar disorder diagnosis. There is often an unnecessary and unhealthy stigma attached to those diagnosed with bipolar disorder. This book does a lot to put this condition into perspective and answer questions regarding symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and a myriad of other areas that concern bipolar disorder. Make the time to avail yourself of this resource and educate yourself and others about an often misunderstood condition that begs to be fully understood.

This information is very, very basic. I would not recommend this book for anyone seeking true knowledge of bipolar disorder.

    Nothing new

I was not impressed and thought this "book" was not worth the money. Complete lack of information.

    Short and to the point

Loved it. It takes the concept of explaining the disorder for the average person to understand. I do wish it went in to the medications portion a bit more and the different episodes alot more. Maybe how to identify an episode in the early stages. Other than that, pretty good and right to the point.
