I remember reading this 10 years ago in high school. The Author is from Indiana and grew up around Larry's time so he has a unique angle on the rise of a Legend from a tiny town called French Lick, to the Hallowed Halls of the Boston Garden. Great Pictures are included showing Larry as a boy and a young man, as well as his high school sweetheart Janet Condra. This is a good read esecially if you are a basketball lover with a hoops dream. It tells the tale of a boy with a dream that was his alone, through hardwork, dedication, belief, and overcoming childhood tragedy, you will be inspired by this book.
