This book is entertaining in and of itself. As a well-written and well-illustrated tome on the adventurous side of our feline companions it promotes an insidious theme of "songbirds as prey" for any mild-mannered, thoughtless cat owner. As a book the title completes any cat-lovers library - a well-intentioned epitaph to the growing cat craze. Although the book is fine in its present form the addition of a chapter detailing the delights of decorating a cat's home with caged birds is an obvious omission, one which a future edition may easily rectify. Was this review helpful?
