This is an excellent book for identifying Missouri birds. The birds are grouped by colors, making it easy to quickly identify the bird you've located. I loved this feature! Just turn to the correct color and look at the pictures! This book also includes informative pages of interesting facts such as bird basics, types of nests, why and how birds migrate, and range maps. It contains a list of helpful resources, hotlines, web page sites. Included is a check list/index to check off the birds you've seen. This little book makes bird watching easy and fun.
