This book was excellent when I started birding this spring but I found a few birds are not in the book. The pictures are excellent and I would highly recommend this to a new "birder" or to children who are interested in learning a new hobby! Easy to carry with you and the birds are grouped together according to their colors so it wes really easy when I wanted to find a brown, red or black & white bird etc.!!
