    The Only Guide I'll Buy!

I have purchased Birnbaum's travel guides for all of our trips to Disney. This is an excellent resource. The pages are usually well worn until our trip gets here. I also take the book along while we're actually on our trip so I can refer to it often. I call the book 'My Disney Bible' and I highly recommend it.

    Great 2009 Guide!

I loved using the Birnbaum Guide for planning my 2009 family visit to Walt Disney World. Like most Disney vacationers, I tend to rely on both the Birnbaum Guide for my resort & park planning and also author Dan Green's popular new Healthy Guide to Disney World 2009 as my dining, diet and fitness resource. It seems almost every guest in WDW utilizes these guides to better their overall Disney experiences. Definitely recommend.

    only the best.

Birnbaum's guides are only the best. Disney World would have been crazy without this guide. This book makes everything more simple and planned out. I cant wait to have the most current issue.

    Good Information

I have used Birnbaum books before when planning a visit to Disney World. The books give great information and ideas.

I heartily recommend this book for planning a vacation to Disney World.

Will Buy Birnbaum's Guide in the Future

This guide is well organized, easy to read, and contains a great index for looking up specific items. It also gives all the "official" Disney websites and phone numbers. I began with this book, but also used Mom's Panel for more in-depth information. There are a lot of wonderful websites that are not "official" that this guide could have mentioned--even with a disclaimer. All in all, I will buy another Birnbaum's guide when I plan my next trip.

    Birnbaum Guide

This is our second trip to Disney and I've bought this guide each time. I love it!!! It is really helpful if you are planning on staying at a Disney resort and get the food plan. (which I highly recommend!) It gives you details of the resorts and dining places. It also goes through each park. The highlights and where different restaurants are located throughout the resort. They also have price ranges of the restaurants. I'm sure you could find this stuff out online too but it's just nice to have a book. I take this with me when we go down there. By the way if you're looking for a cheap disney resort that is nice I recommend any of the value resorts. Especially if you have kids. Really all the resorts are very nice. Hope you enjoy your Disney vacations!! We do!!!

    Not up to date

I have been to WDW several times and got this book as a refresher for an upcoming trip. Unfortunately alot of the information was already out of date and most of the topics are not covered in depth. For example, it gave incorrect information about Dining Reservations and other reservations in several locations. If you are an experienced WDW traveler save your money and use the Moms Panel on Disney's Website or one of the other unofficial websites to get the current scoop.

    We love this book!

We've been to Disney several times, and I buy the latest copy of Birnbaum's every time we book our trip. The first time I bought it, I read it cover to cover. Now I just use it for reference. It includes the newest attractions, and is useful for things we haven't seen or done yet. It includes everything, down to the smallest detail. I wouldn't go to Disney without it!

HIGHLY recommend for anyone planning a Disney World Vacation

This guide was suggested to me by a friend who traveled to WDW this Spring. We are planning a trip there this August and I bought the book hoping for some general tips. It gives much more than that. The details to resorts and parks is awesome. With two children - 1 boy, 8 and a girl 5 - I can organized the trips to each park and know which rides are appropriate for them.

Going back to WDW after a long time

I am finally going back to WDW after not being there since 1995. I purchased the Birnbaum Guide 2009 to WDW. I found it informative, everything has certainly changed and I found much of the information useful. Such as: fast pass info, it wasn't there when I was last there,
information on Disney's Magical Express Service from the airport. Being able to order a nice surprise for my daughter from Disney's florist to have put in our room at the Polynesian. All these things were brought to my attention while reading this book. The little green boxes with HOT TIPS were very informative also. I am glad that I purchased this book!

    Birnbaum's Walt Disney World

Except for th first year the park opened I have had the opportunity of visiting WDW every year. With all this experience I still read the latest version of Birnbaum's WDW. It is amazing the year over year differences that the Birnbaum staff high lights. The book is fantastic for the first time visitor or the yearly snow bird. The book content is more than the four themed parks, the water parks, the hotels, the shopping, the entertainment, the sports, it also includes hints to make the cannot miss excitement enhanced.

Good Disney guide for the novice

Birnbaum has become too entwined with Disney. The tips are the same ones Disney publishes. A true Disney "commando" knows the real ins and outs. I just buy it for the pictures.

    A great deal each year

After having been to Disney parks at least 25 times over the last 30 years, I still buy this book each year to update myself on anything new. I order it months in advance of our trip, and spend time pouring over each and every page, always learning a new tip or finding a new spot to explore. The book is informative, fun, filled with great color photos and more helpful hints than any friend can possibly give you. Buy it, read it, and read it again on your road trip/ plane trip to the parks. You will be rewarded many times over with all of your insightful information.

    Honeymooner

This book has really helped us plan our 2009 Disney World Honeymoon. It gave a lot of great advice and tips, and also full of detailed descriptions of many rides and attractions in each park. I did however think it might have been a little partial to Disney, but aren't we all?

Best Guidebook for Walt Disney World

Since 2000 we have gone to WDW 4 times and are leaving for our 5th trip in May. We have bought the Birnbaum every year even in the years we do not go. There is so much info in this book that it is extremely helpful to the first timer who may or may not know much at what to see and do at WDW. We lucked up and first heard about it when our travel agent gave us our packet of info. It was listed as a recommendation for valuable tips and info. I would most definitely recommend it to anyone and have bought the kids version when our child was younger. He's 15 now and doesnt quite get into the "kid" version any longer.

Inside Guide to the House of Mouse

My wife and I recently booked a trip to spend a week at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. As soon as we had the idea for the trip, I ran out to by this guide on all thing Disney World. The book is full of tips, hints and all the information anyone could want. We bought the general book but Birnbaum also has books for trip with kids and trips without the kids. I've been to Disney many times but not since 2001 so I found the book very helpful in telling me all the new things to see and do. And more than a little sad to learn about attractions that are no longer there.
My only real concern in recommending this book is that it's Disney's take on themselves. Not a problem for me as a huge Disney fan and former employee, but it could be for some. There are several other books written by Unofficial sources. But lets face it, Disney is the best at what they do and they know themselves better than anyone.
If your planning to visit Mickey and the gang I strongly recommend this title or any in the 2009 series.

A good official Walt Disney World guide book.

Birnbaum's is the official Disney guide book. It is a good book that shows all Disney has to offer. It has great pictures and graphs on rating the various hotels and resorts. It is just Disney and does not go into detail about other off site hotels and resturants. It is a good book to have. This book is one of three that I buy before we plan a Disney trip.
