This is a Great Guide to Disney World!

I really enjoy the Birnbaum Guides. They are laid out well so that you can quickly find the information you are looking for. Comprehensive so that you know just what to expect expense wise. I always like to budget high and have extra later in the trip for the unexpected and this guide allows you to do that. I enjoy seeing the photographs and the maps also. The Hot Tips are great and the other sections that give you specific information. They even list stuff that you might not think of needing for children which is so helpful to new parents like myself. I recommend this book for anyone that wants an easy to read overall look at Disney World and helps you plan your vacation there!

I always buy Birnbaum's book when heading to Disney!

You don't have to read the entire book to learn hot spots and time saving tips. We visited one of the busiest weeks of the year, the week before Easter/Spring Break, and our longest wait was 70 minutes. We visited Animal Kinkdom, Epcot, Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.

Birnbaum's Guide to Walt Disney World is a must buy when planning your vacation to "The Most Magical Place on Earth" in sunny Florida. You should really purchase the book at least one month prior in order to plan out your days in the four

I made the mistake of purchasing the Birnbaum Guide to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida only a few days prior to our trip. To get the full extent of the wealth of knowledge that this book holds you should really purchase it before booking your vacation. It gives you so many hints on how to get the most for your time in this Magical Place, from when the best time is to get in line( or I should say, lack of a line for The Haunted Mansion) to where to stand for the full effect of the firework display in the evenings. It tells you which rides offer the Fast Pass, which allows you to get a ticket for the most popular rides and a time-anywhere from thirty to sixty minutes to return and just go right in. Since the book is updated yearly it also informs the visitors on when and where there are renovations going on as well as ride closures for maintainence. Walt Disney World has something for everyone. The book leads you in the right direction; whether you want to hit all the rides, if you are the more intellectual type there are the attractions such as The Hall of Presidents that will take you from our founding father, George Washington up to our now President, Barack Obama. The book highlights where the spots are to catch a glimse and possibly get your picture taken with the many characters from Mickey Mouse to the Villans of Disney's many movies.
Epcot and World Showcase are so diversified that the book is almost a necessity to point out some of the hidden attractions there. We had visited both The Magic Kingdom and Epcot with the World Showcase in 2002 and 2003. There have been so many changes and additions that if I had bought the book sooner it would have been so helpful. Another issue I was not aware of, and if I had read a little bit more, I would have realized that reservations were needed at places to eat because of Character Meals that they did not have when we were there in 2002 and 2003. I highly recommend this Guide if you want to get your money's worth out of you Disney Vacation.

    Birnbaums is the Best

I know there are other books out there, perhaps some with tons more information, but for our family Birnbaums is still the best. The information is presented in an easy-to-understand fashion and really tells you everything you need to know. For our Disney trip this year, I bought the "other" book, but ended up buying the Birnbaums anyway - the other one almost had too much in it and was very hard to find things in. When you're planning a Disney trip, you can't go wrong with Birnbaums!!!

    We Love Disney & Birnbaum

We've been to Walt Disney World 20 times and we purchase a new Birnbaum guide every time we go. There are always changes that we like to know about before we get there and the Birnbaum guide includes as many as they can find.

The book is easily navigated through and is a great value for anyone who loves going to Disney World.

A must for travel to DisneyWorld

I have bought several editions of Birnbaum's guide to Walt Disney World. I find it useful for comparing the resorts and the prices of the various ways to get tickets. I like to get the new editions when we go back to Disney World to see easily what has changed since our last visit. I find this guide very helpful and accurate in its descriptions. If you have not been to Disney World before, it is essential to read this guide before going to get a realistic picture of what you are getting into. Read all of the getting ready to go sections well in advance of your trip and especially the tips about planning your days in the parks. You will save yourself some big headaches.

Let me tell you...if you are going to Disney this year you will want this book to have for ANY questions you might have. It gives you tips about each park and so much more. Trust me there is so much info in this book, if you have a question the answer is in the Birnbaum's Guide!

great ideas, great pictures, great layout!! Love it!! Will continue to buy this book each time we go.

    A Must Have

A must for first time Disney visitors. Or those taking young children for the first time. We go to Disney at least every 2 years, but we buy a new book each time. There are always new rides, shows & other things that make planning easier. If you don't plan your visit to Disney World, you will waste alot of time (and money).

well presented, slightly busy but over all very nice

It was informatve, pleasant read but slightly busy. Hard to find a quick topic and I would have found useful a chart to show a suggested schedule showing best use of time by going to busiest area first and then venues in immediate area based on how busy each would be. Still a good book!
