Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
Biscuit is playing ball with his mistress and when he nears a play house, he finds a little pup hiding inside. Both his mistress and Biscuit try to entice the little pup to come out to play. The ball does not do it nor does the bone. Biscuit has an idea—he decides to play hide-and-seek and finally the little pup comes out of the play house. Then the owner of the little pup shows up and both kids are reunited with their puppies. The illustrations are attractive and the puppies have similar expressions and shaped faces even though they are different sizes and colors. It is an innocuous story and part of the "My First Reading" series in the larger "I Can Read!" series. Reviewer: Marilyn Courtot

I bought this book to use with tutoring a girl who loves dogs! it is a great read with sight words. A cute story that the little girl loved to read over and over!

This book is simply entertaining to my grandchildren. Recently, at a restaurant the children clamoured to be with me, especially when they saw my electronic reader. They sat quietly enjoying Bicuit's story while we ate. The colorful illustrations and Read to me feature were worth their weight in gold. Quality books that enhance the love of reading are invaluable. I have added other Biscuit books to my library.
