Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
A tasty collection of quick and easy recipes for biscuits and scones of all types. Some are old favorites, some are new creations: Hot Cross Scones for breakfast and Gingerbread Scones for tea, Blueberry Cobbler and Caramel Banana Shortcake for dessert, savory Black Pepper Biscuit Pretzels for snacktime. Alston's earlier Muffins was popular; this is likely to be too. JS

    Wonderful!!!!

I love this book... the scones come out moist, delicious and very flavorful. Easy to follow instructions. My favorites are the Apricot Swirl and Raisin Scones.

    Great recipes

I had this book several years ago and made some of the most delicious scones you have ever tasted from the recipes in this book ( and not that difficult either!) After several moves I have misplaced it and I am planning to get another copy for my cookbook collection!
