Overview

From Rebekah Turner, author of the Applecross Chronicles series, comes a paranormal romance set among the biker werewolves of rural Tasmania.

Ben 'Bulldog' Jericho, president of the Diablo Dogs motorcycle club and werewolf alpha, bears the grim burden of leadership, punishing any who stray from pack rules. When one of his own is murdered, he knows justice must be served.

Constable Lydia Gault has fled a traumatic past on the mainland for her Tasmanian hometown of Camden — and she has blood ties to hunters of Jericho’s kind.

Now, Lydia and Jericho must join forces to hunt a killer, even as pack politics and werewolf hunters intrude on the small town, threatening to re-ignite an ancient war.

Ben “Bulldog” Jericho has his hands full. He is the president of the Diablo Dogs MC, the alpha werewolf for his pack and is responsible for making sure all the wolves in the rehabilitation center stay on track and don’t revert. It is his compassion, understanding and leadership that has made the rehabilitation center such a success but lately more of the male wolves have suffered from reversion, a disease that makes them lose control of shifting and their mental capabilities and the only way to stop them once they get to that point is by death. As if that is not enough, there is a new Hunter in town who is determined to rid the world of werewolves. Lydia has left her job on the mainland to come back home and work for her small town police department. After a close brush with death thanks to her ex, Lydia is finding it hard to fit in around town. When a local murder leads to her to Diablo Dogs and Jericho Lydia finds out everything isn’t always as it seems. I love the chemistry between Ben and Lydia. This is my first book by Rebekah Turner and look forward to reading more of her books. I can’t find where it says if this is the first book of a series or not but I really hope it is. I would like to find out more about some of the other characters we were introduced to in the book. I received an eARC of this book compliments of the publisher in exchange for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.
