The second book in the Hadley Werewolves Trilogy is an intriguing and fast paced paranormal read.
A witch in wolf’s clothing, Charley infiltrates the Hadley Pack to save her mother and protect her coven. A lone wolf, Trenton is determined to protect the pack and he won’t let another witch destroy the pack again. The passion between Charley and Trenton shock them both, but she has to tell him the truth soon or it will bring about the end for Trenton and the innocents of Hadley.
The fast paced and exciting read keeps the reader intrigued from beginning to end with romance, action and surprising twists. The author brings the story to life with vibrant descriptions and well written scenes that capture the imagination. All the characters are bewitching with strong personalities that grab the reader’s attention.
The tension builds throughout as Charley tries to find a solution and the evil returns. The battle scene is described with intense detail that makes it easy for the reader to feel as if they are a part of the drama as it unfolds.
The author has created an intriguing and entertaining paranormal world of witches and werewolves that keeps the reader on the edge of their seat. This book can be read without reading the first one, which is what I have done, but it might be even more enjoyable reading them in order, which I am going to remedy real soon and I can’t wait for the final book which is due out in 2014.
