This book was absolutely frightening! The punctuation errors sent chills down my spine. (Overuse and misuse of colons and semi-colons, incorrectly written dialogue.) Grammar errors made my hair stand on end. ("Even worst," "more creepier," verb tense.) The capital errors had me shivering. ("Hello, Mr. Sexy Vampire". Said Ally.) And the fact that there was absolutely no ending to this story made me much too horrified to ever read another "novel" by this author. I'm too afraid! At first, I assumed this was written by a middle school or early high school student, and I was going to give it a "valiant effort," but the "sex scene" made me sincerely hope that it was not written by a child. In that case I recommend that this "author" takes some writing classes, reads "Eats Shoots and Leaves" for some punctuation help, and seeks the assistance of an editor before "publishing" again. P.S. The punctuation error in my "capital" comment was intended. The quotation marks around the title of a book were only there because I don't know how to italicize on a Nook.

It was okay. There were a lot of typos, but a quick story and it was pretty interesting. Just so you know, there is a sex scene! BLEH!

Explicit sex!! Just so you know if you are younger. :-)

What the heck? It started out great and then just like that it end? Im not being a critique or anything, i mean the plot was awesome and everything but how the heck do you get off with an ending like that. I half expected the author to said that it would continue in another book. It was like the book was cut off in the middle of a paragraph. How dissapointing :(

The story was good. I love the cliffhanger at the end and will definitely read the next in the series. My only problem with it was that the verb tense was scattered. Sometimes it was present, sometimes past. Also it seemed as if there were words missing in some sentences. If someone is needed to proofread stories, I know of a pretty good one.

I couldn't get past page 25. The writing style was amatuerish and the grammar was terrible. I usually will read almost anything but this was BAD!

It was a very interesting book but there were a lot of errors. I did read both bitten and stolen. I want the third book to come out. P.S there ARE other books in the series!! When i was reading the books i was thinking to myself that the book was really lame. I do love the plot and the story, but the author has very poor writing skills. I read a lot and i've for sure seen better. I'm not saying to not read the book, just... try to imagine that the book is correctly written and I assure you that it will sound better!

Sorry, but I felt this story was most likely written by a 12 year old. Very poor plot, and unbelievable characters. Just not very good, in my opinion.

Which was worse, the writing, the spelling or the grammer? Enough said.

Lousy. This book, if you can call it that, sounds like it was written by a kid. Not recommended at all.

What I read was good, but there was no ending. What should have been chapter 11 turned out to be the second book that I had to go looking for. The author should have put all the short stories together to make a real book with an ending.

Poorly written and desperately needs editing. I dont normally quit a book once I start but the first chapter was enough. Just cant ignore poor grammar. Reads like a teenager wrote it. Disappointing because i was happy to be able to get the whole trilogy for free. Now how do I delete them?

Sorry but I did not enjoy this Free Fridays Nook Book. The story line was ok but I was distracted by the excessive use of slang, which will date the book, and the grammatical errors.

Short story with no ending. I don't think english is the author's first language. Horrible grammer and incorrect verb tense. I cannot believe i just wasted my time

Wasn't the best read I've ever encountered. Good story line and ideas but has terrible sentence structure, grammar, etc. Because of that its hard to concentrate on the story. Only thing going for it right now is that it is free...

Glad it is free

Well, the story line is great. That's about it. The grammar was above and beyond awful. It seems like it was written by an eighth grader, honetly. The only reason i kept reading was to find out what hapened, and even then it ws a cliff-hanger. You don't end novellas like that, honestly.

Story didn't end, it just stopped. Badly written!

Set off to read a series, and get left in the middle, predictable, bad grammer, I found myself skipping entire pages.

I liked this story very much, but I have a couple problems with it. (1) The book ends so abruptly as a cliffhanger that it feels like the end of a chapter, not a book that hints at a sequel. (2) The editing is almost non-existent (punctuation, homophones & homonyms, as well as the wrong tense of of phrases, e.g., worse vs. worst). I would have given it fewer stars for the poor grammar but I really liked the story.
