    Great book

I really didnt like the main character Mara at first. I found her selfish, selfcentered, and a real jerk. I almost didnt read past the first couple of chapters but I did and Im glad. I really enjoyed seeing Mara grow and change as a person. I loved how Clay put God first rather than cause a rift in Mara's family. And I was so pleased by the results of their faithfulness to God. It was a great book and I think its worth a read.

    So-So

Love Denise Hunter books, but the writing style of this book wasn't what I was use to. This is a re-release of a book written by Denise in 2002 (I think it must of been one of her first attempts.) It wasn't bad, but she has definitely progressed as a writer! It was an easy read, but I would of spent the money on one of her more recent writings.
