A story of great adventure and wonderful writing. It makes you feel as if you're on the journey the book describes. Pirates are always fun to read about as well. Loved it! Can't wait for another book by this author!
What a delightful story. Its got pirates, exotic lands, mystery, romance, excitement. A good book to relax with that you can truly enjoy. It reads real easy and isn't real long. Sharing with ALL my friends and family.
What an easy-to-read, delightful book! It not only takes you along a journey of excitement and anticipation, but also has a continual underlying theme of love which seizes your attention--read it in one sitting! Wonderful read, great for anyone, young and old alike. Will definitely recommend to all my "reader" friends!
A good read. I liked that it was refreshingly wholesome yet has plenty of excitement! Could be a real hit with teenagers! "Pocahontas"
I was reading this book and couldn't believe how easy it was to keep going with it! I agree with a couple of the others here, that it could be read in one sitting! I'm a "young adult" and have really been blessed by the faith of this girl--especially after being captured by pirates, then something really great happens to her, then off she goes again, it's so like real life for teenagers today! The ending is awesome; but I for one would really like to see a sequel. Are there any other books by Jenny Howard?
