This is the best wind orchestra recording ever released on CD. It seems incredible that this is an actual live concert, an unedited performance. But perhaps because it is taken from a live concert there is so much excitement in the playing. The Carmen Symphony by Serebrier (after Bizet) is extremely delightful, as is his take on the Revueltas fragment. Highly recommended. H.D.
