Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
Things that go and making them go often attract young readers. The cover claims that this book is "Perfect for Little Paws" and the moveable slide which features a yellow taxi on a busy street is indeed easy to move. But the wheel to move vehicles around a traffic circle is more challenging. Bizzy Bear hops from the cab to a train and the scene also shows boats passing under a railroad bridge. Next this busy bear heads to the airport to catch a flight and ends up at the beach on a small sailboat. While there isn't much of a story, young ones do see a large variety of vehicles and caregivers can focus on pointing them out and making a game of naming them. The back cover offers additional suggestions for engaging listeners. Reviewer: Marilyn Courtot

    my son loves this

I got the Bizzy Bear series of books for my 13 month old son after checking one of them out from the library. He loves them all. The pictures have parts that move and turn and he loves to make them move. the stories are simple and rhyming and the illustrations are vibrant and colorful with lots to look at. He brings these books to me at least 20 times per day to read to him.
