    Must Have !

Black Bird is an absolutely amazing manga. It has beautiful artwork, unique storyline (not many people have thought of this one yet), great humor, and not anything that can put you to sleep. It is more intended for less juvenile audiences, but I think that's partially what makes it so amazing.

BlackBird is a can't miss for shoujo fans!

Love all types of manga, but you seriously can't hate this kind of love/romance/smutty/girl type. It's escapism at its best. Wish the drawings were a little higher quality, but for those who haven't read it yet give it a chance, read more than the first volume too. (There is more story to be found.)

    Black Bird

Although it may not seem to have the most original plot line, there's a twist to it that makes it more interesting. You'll learn to love all the characters, major or minor, and enjoy reading about how close Misao and Kyo get.

    I love it!

I'm not really someone who's into shojo manga,so when i saw this i thought "this is going to put me to sleep." But after reading it i was shocked that i liked it. It's got humor, action, romance, and even some horror! It's got it all! It is a really good manga, that anyone could get hooked on. I hope you injoy it as much as i did!

    Great series

The story of the senka maiden and her demon lover continue in this 2nd volume. The heroine, Misao Harada, is the senka maiden and the hero, Kyo Usui, is her demon lover. This picks up where volume 1 ends and it adds a new twist to this burgeoning romance: Kyo was not the original choice for leader of his clan. He contested his older brother Sojo Usui for clan leadership because in the demon world only the clan leader can marry and make love to the senka maiden. Sojo, the elder Usui brother, is introduced in this volume and puts a dent in the lovers' relationship.
I love that the author doesn't lose sight of the original plot introduced in the 1st volume and I love that she throws in these scenes to develop her hero and heroine's characters as well as the supporting characters. Once again, not recommended for readers under 18years of age although the heroine is aged 16.
I am hesitant to recommend the manga to become a Nookbook because I don't know how the artwork will look and if it will upload good. It would probably look better on the Nook Color because it has a bigger screen (I think??).

    Okay

Yeah I wasn't sure I was going to like this. It has a creepy factor you know? The art was good and okay at the same time. Plus i figure, you know what, let's back to this series. Since I read the first one, might as well continue and see where it goes from there. Okay volume.

    Unusual

While the subject matter is a bit too "adult" for younger audiences, older teens will like the storyline that develops the characters very nicely. The romance and barely concealed plots will keep the reader riveted.

My Review for Black Bird vol.2

This book was amazing. It really brought out the love Misao Harada and Kyo have for eahother. All the complications and actions that had gone on to put a strain on their relationship made it all worth while to read. With nothing but magic realms and demon clans, this book or series can really put a little excitment to your dreams. This book is hilarious and very enticing. I have no idea why it took so long for this book to come out but I am so glad it did. It's a wonderful love story and I can't wait fot the 3rd volume to come out. Girls should definately read this. I garuntee they'll love it, but if they don't thats ok.
