    Black Bird Saga continues...

For those Shojo fans who haven't gotten hooked yet, there's still a chance to catch up and become a fan of Kanoko Sakurakoji's lovely but naughty tale of romance and danger, Black Bird! This volume continues to question what will happen when Misao marries Kyo, will she be spirited away or live peacefully with him? Will she still be able to enjoy the lives of her friends and family members or never see them again? Unfortunately, those questions are not answered within this volume, much to my and many readers displeasure, but many new, interesting relationships emerge in this volume, that allow a greater understanding of all the forces that affect Kyo and Misao's relationship. As with the other volumes, the artwork, plot, and characters will quickly draw you into the story and this like the other volumes is worth possessing a copy of your very own.

    Good

This one's a 3.5 instead of the usual 3 I gave so far for this series. This one was actually interesting, I admit and dude has his moments in this so he wasn't entirely creepy like the last one. Thank you for that. Maybe I'll have something else to like about the next one instead of the usual, oh that's creepy, or oh yeah that shows there totally in love. Also at least the cover isn't being weird or creepy like the last ones.

    more from this reviewer

The plot thickens in this 4th volume

One thing that keeps you reading this manga is the cliffhanger question: Will they or will they not make love (From the look of the cover, what do you think?)??? Pardon the beginning of the review but if you've been reading the manga series you would ask the same thing. The author already threw in lots of obstacles that these lovers must overcome and she made it worse by adding the uncertainty of what would happen if they decide to consummate their relationship. But what I love about in this 4th chapter is that the author attempts to "humanize" the demon hero. We would think demons only think ill of humans but it seems like they feel what we feel too (???). I am not talking about the hero and heroine because the author clearly illustrated how they feel about each other in the first 3 volumes. There's a new twist introduced in volume 4: Can you kill your best friend to ensure you will not lose the woman you love? This is what the author throws at the lovers this time and I think it's a good one too. I also like how the volume ends. Okay, I don't want to give out too many spoilers in the review so you'll have to read it to find out.
