For those who have gotten caught up in this series, it's an absolute 'must buy' for your keeper shelf!<BR/><BR/>Ward has included, among other things: a shiny, new short story about baby Nalla; the original proposal for Dark Lover which started the whole series; some deleted scenes (different from the ones originally available on her website); some of her favorite quotes from each book; a teaser scene from the upcoming "Lover Avenged"; some hilarious sequences from her website boards starring the brothers; new interviews with each of the brothers (different from those originally available on her website); dossiers on each brother, and a whole lot more.<BR/><BR/>I gnawed on this one like a chocoholic at Godiva's! Don't buy the e-book thinkning you are getting the Insider's Guide. It is only the Zsadist and Bella novella, which was a great disappointment to me. Go out and get the hard copy if you don't want to get ripped off.

this was the first insiders guide ive ever bought to follow up with any series ive read. but im glad i bought it. after reading it i feel like i know more about the characters of the book and how they interact with one another. this guide was amazing because of the deleted scences and the novela. that alone was the reason i bought it. what i also liked about this insiders guide was the in depth look into the mindset of J.R. Ward. i liked the fact that the reader got to hear her voice about why she wrote each book and where she was at in her life while writing them. i strongly recommend this insiders guide to all black dagger brotherhood fans who want to know more about who the brothers are, the moving novela about how zadist embrasses fatherhood, and all alot of other stuff to.

My favorite part of this book is the story with Z and Bella. They are my favorite couple! I enjoyed reading it and when I finished it,I gave it to my mother-n-law who is also a fan of the series and she loved it too!

From the first book I read until the last sentence on the last book, she had me. These characters became "family" to me. I learned to trust them, love them, respect them. The stories are so strong and the way they are all tied together makes putting them down impossible. You just want to keep reading so you can get to the next book.
I've recently watched a episode of "True Blood" and can't tell you how dissappointed I was. Although I didn't like the "Sookie Stackhouse" books anyway. What I don't get, is how come someone hasn't grabbed these up and done a series or something??? The writing is so much better and much less"silly" than the Stackhouse series!!!I hope that she keeps doing these, even though I'm sure, she's running out of "brothers". They are truly amazing and I'm so glad someone told me about them. This book really cemented the characters and made them real. What an amazing concept for Ward to create the interviews with her imagination!!! I thought I wasn't going to be impressed with this book, but couldn't put it down.

I am not a huge fan of romance books let alone ones about the paranormal. However the Black Dagger Brotherhood is just a series of stories you HAVE to fall in love with! Romance, intrigue, humor... you have everything here and it's definantly something you can reread over and over again!

I saw her book in walmart and the whole reason it caught my eye was because a woman was biting a mans neck so iwas like if it bad i would give it to a cousin or something.I get home and start reading it and cant put it down I tried but always picked it back up. I didnt get any sleep that night, the next day i go online and wham! she has a series im so excited i yell O Yeah and everybody looks at me wierd, Im in a public libary!!! after that I would go and buy them till i had them all. I read them so much the spine is starting to look pretty terrible.

From the moment I picked up "DARK LOVER", the first book in this wonderful series, I have been hooked. All I can say about "The Black Dagger Brotherhood: An Insider's Guide" by J.R. Ward is WOW!. For those who have gotten caught up in this series, it's an absolute 'must buy' for your keeper shelf! I recommend buying the actual book as apposed to the e-book due to the graphics that are included (The Old Language --These do not come through on my nook color). Included is the novella "Father Mine", the story of Zsadist and Bella and their daughter Nalla; the Brotherhood Dossiers; deleted scenes; a Q & A with J.R. herself; her interviews with all the brothers; J.R.'s favorite passages from the books (up through "Lover Enshrined"; the original proposal for Dark Lover which started the whole series; interviews with each of the brothers (different from those originally available on her website); and OH so much more.

Gives an interesting look into the thought process Ward uses to write. BDB is an amazing world and this book adds to the texture. Part of why I like this series is that it is so interwoven from book to book and does not always take the expected turn.

The series of The Blackdagger Brotherhood are AWESOME! Could not put them down. I have read each one like 3 times. Cant wait for the next installment.<BR/>The Insiders Guide was great by going into detail on parts that were vague in the books where you wanted more.

I am 17 currently and whenn I read her first book, I absolutely feel in love with the series. Every time another one of her books came out I got it. I can't wait for this one. It's going to be amazing.

This series of books is amazingly written and has me turning pages until there are no more to turn! I've read all of the published books and I can't wait for the next ones to come out! Anticipation, manipulation, love, and fighting. This book has it all!

I loved this book from cover to cover! The novella was beautiful, the interviews were true to each brothers individual personality but the part I loved most was the behind the scenes look Ward gives to her readers. Her willingness to allow us "behind the curtain" is crazy interesting and, I felt, a deeply personal share. LOVED IT!!! LOVED IT!!! LOVED IT!!!

This is a must have for any BDB fan! I love when JR Ward meets with each of the Brothers to be interviewed because they all really come to life. Her relationship with V is especially interesting. Z and Bella's story with the birth of Nalla is a real bonus that you won't want to miss. This book doesn't just rehash everything, it gives all kinds of extras and tidbits that make this so much fun to read! This is well worth the money!
