    Shrug my shoulders...

This is the third book that I've ever read by Donald Goines and now I'm confused about whether I like him as an author or not. This book was really hard for me to get into after Prince got out of jail. Then when the Cougars came in, I was all over it. Then when Ruby got all Queen Bee, I was bored again. It was just one big roller coaster of emotions. I'm still going to read another one, because I didn't like his first one, thought the second one was great...so I figure there's a pattern there too!

    1 OF THE BEST

I ENJOYED THIS BOOK. RUBY WAS OUT COLD AND SHOWED HOW WOMEN SUPPOSE TO STAND BY THEIR MEN. THIS BOOK SHOWED HOW GIRLFRIENDS AND FRIENDS CAN BE LOYAL TO THIER FRIENDS. THE BOOK TALKED ABOUT HOW A PERSON CAN INFLUENCE OTHERS TO DO NEGATIVE THINGS THAT CAN END TO DEATH AND JAIL. THE BOOK WAS FUNNY HOW 1 PERSON TOOK OVER AN ENTIRE CITY.

The first ever book to have a soundtrack

The book is good from start to finish. This was the first book that I had read from Goines after I got the book it was done two days later. If you are into to urban books pick this one up you will not be sorry

    Reality in a harsh World

This book throughly describes the true, meaning of a gangster. The way Goines tells neighborhood fables, he dips into the surreal feel of the ghetto.
