A collection of five stories envisioning a future Japan. The majority fall neatly into the Cyberpunk genre, but none of them really hit the mark. Even as standard Science-Fiction they aren't spectacular. Pat Cadigan's contribution is only part of a larger novel. And three of the stories fall completely flat. The last entry, Thirteen Views Of High Edo, is an excellent novella, a little slow moving, but a very good snapshot of a man coming out of his personal prison. Hard to find these days, but if you can find it cheap the last piece of worth the price. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
