    This deserves to be worshiped

If you want to know what good music is, listen to this CD. Listen to it closely and you shall be amazed. AFI is so insane and this CD is beautiful. Jade (guitar) is going to have "Guitar-God" status once people wake up and listen to AFI. "God Called in Sick Today" is...oh man...it's just spectaculous. You HAVE to love this CD or you should be beaten. *************** 15 friggin stars man.

    Amazing

This is absolotly AFI's best work. It is punk rock and hardcore to it's best. It may be AFI's hardeset work but it still has a melody.

    AFI - Smooth Sailing

In the world of the sappy hopeless goth pseudopoetics, the thoughtless political rumblings of the punk scene, the carbon-copy death/new metal drones, and the dying industrial scene, which can't seem to bouee itself against the ever ebbing tide, it's hard to imagine something fresh and genuine in the music world. Heck, even the hardcore scene, though it has had a good run in the spotlite, has started to rust. However, punk-goth-core heroes, AFI have championed the sincere, sine their inception in 1991. Black Sails in the Sunset is one of their best works, filled with introspective musings, raw and vulnerable, yet hopeful and determined. The band preaches of unity reached through the understanding of the injuries we have all suffered, banding together through our wounds. It is an album about banding together as much as it is about falling apart, and while it's fast-paced hardcore anthems speak of the disolution of one's psyche, it's endless message is one of victory. "Pushed to our knees, so let us pray. All together, we will bring the real rain." Over all, AFI's "Black Sails in the Sunset" is a fast-paced punk juggernaut, infused with lyrical depth rarely found in said genre. PICK IT UP NOW!!!!!

    Cheers to the Kings

This is the best cd I have heard by AFI. Not only is it the best cd by them, It has made its way to the top of my list, now being my favorite cd of all time. I would very much recommend this cd to anyone in the world. If you don't like it, go watch a movie.
