    A fantastic addition.

Mysterious, haunting, mystical, scary at times, and fascinating...a very different BLACK STALLION book. Alec rides the Black into the Everglades on a casual ride, but an almost-manical horse trainer living deep in the lands around the swamp tries to capture Alec and his stallion--even if it means death for anyone. A very good addition. It's not a deep novel, but is exciting and pulse-pounding. It gets violent, so young children SHOULD NOT read this.

    A very good book

This book was outstanding. It had me hooked till the book was done. It was scary enough to keep me on the edge of my seat the entire time I read it. I've read all the Black Stallion books and I must say this is one of my favorites.

    Birdpaw

*he saw a huge bug, and thought that a bird would love to catch it! He followed it to a huge batch of flowers with tons of birds swooping overhead. He padded around, watching the patterns of the birds closely. He then slowly went behind a flower and waited until the bird was picking up the insect. He then pounced into the air, and with one swipe of his paw, the bird was killed. He burried it and went off to search for more prey.*

    Stormtail

Is hunting as he sees the weasal. He quickly hides and masks his scent in the ferns and as soon as the weasal is lost in focus of his meal the young tom attacks! He grabs the weasal and bite sharply on its back and it quickly scratches his muzzle and makes it bleed
The strong tom is furious as he battles harder and gives a bite to it s throat and then tears out its throat with his claws. He gives a satifised purr as he looks himself over finding a new scar on his muzzle and a long and deep scratch on hia shoulder. He hopes to impress some of the single she cats with his kill of the vicious creature that threathened the clan's hunting and prey. He pads back to camp feeling extremely satifised and proud.

    Creeksplash

Creeksplash flattened her self to the ground. The moment a bird dove down she lept into the air and killed it. She buried it and went to look for more prey.

    A Sly Hunter

Slinking through the grass ahead, a weasel is hunting. Just as large as a cat, this creature is not afraid of battle and would just as easily hunt cat as rabbit. But right now he is on the trial of a grouse. The bird has already been injured and the weasel is here to finish the job. Seeing the grouse through the heather, the hunter positions himself. The grouse is bleeding heavily and panting in the mid-day sun. It is with an easy leap that the weasel gets his meal. Unconcerned about other predators, he tears into the bird and begins his feast. His arrogence could be costly but he is sure he can defend his catch. Weasels are often too quick and fierce for one cat to take on by himself. But the weasel is on clan territory and if a patrol were to come, he could end up battling for his life...
