What would you do for your Freedom?

Would you steal?
Kill?
Die?

For Edward Thatch, there is no questioning the depths he will go for his Freedom.

Edward didn’t know he bought a former pirate ship, and when the marine captain Isaac Smith threatened to take his ship, and Freedom, away Edward took matters into his own hands.

Edward’s action sends him, and his best friend Henry Morgan, running from the law on an adventure across the historical Caribbean & Latin America. The two will have to fight not only to stay alive, but to stay free during the so-called “Golden Age” of piracy.

Edward also finds that half the ship he bought is locked, and the previous owner left clues to find the keys. Edward and his crew must follow the clues and face games of life and death before they can claim said keys.

Will Edward and Henry embrace the life that’s been thrust upon them, or will they crash against the rocks of their misfortune? See how the pirate Blackbeard came to be the scourge of the Caribbean Sea and beyond, and follow him on his fantasy adventures full of pirates, privateers, and everything in between in The Voyages of Queen Anne’s Revenge!

Meet the Author

Jeremy McLean enjoys fantasy novels mainly, but also loves the classics like The Count of Monte Cristo, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, etc. Currently, Jeremy has written two novels about the pirate Edward Thatch, aka Blackbeard, and is hard at work on more in the series. Jeremy started writing after a long time of trying to find what he wanted to do with his life. With an active imagination, and a love to create stories and entertain people, he was intially drawn to video game design, but, found that the people in programming don't have much say in story. Because of that, Jeremy decided it wasn't for him. After I found that I enjoyed writing a friend of mine challenged me to participate in a writing competition. It was during this competition that I started what would become Blackbeard's Freedom. I felt confident that others would enjoy Blackbeard's Freedom, and the subsequent series, so I decided to share it with the world. Now I've found my passion in life, and all I hope for is that people enjoy what I write. Let everyone know what you thought of Jeremy's novels by leaving a review, and shoot him an email at Jeremy@McLeansNovels.com.

I love pirates! That said, I don't like stupid pirate stories full of cliches. This book is an original! Edward Thatch stumbles into being a pirate by accident. He bought a ship to use for whaling. When he was able to unfurl the foresail there was a huge Jolly Roger and thus his fate was sealed, as the marines Captain Smith refused to listen to or believe his story. Edward takes the captain hostage, removes the marines from his ship, takes their supplies and weapons, and sets them ree. Later puttng Smith adrift to be saved by his crew. That is the beginning. I will not ruin the rest of this story, but if you love adventure, humor, puzzles and riddles, intrigue, and of course a little love, you must read this book. I shed a few tears at the end. Can't wait to find and buy the next one by this talented young author. I do not often give a full five star ratinng.
