Lucy Monroe always creates beautiful surroundings and intriguing characters, and she continues this tradition in BLACKMAILED INTO MARRIAGE. I admire Lia's strength and her devotion to her daughter and the way Damian responds to her difficulties with compassion and understanding, and not a trace of contempt. I hoped they would find a way to overcome the challenges in their path, find happiness and become a family. BLACKMAILED INTO MARRIAGE is passionate, thoroughly engaging and a wonderful story from beginning to end.

Lucy Monroe has written a beautiful story of love and compassion in Blackmailed Into Marriage. _____ Lia Kennedy had left her well to do family years ago to marry and to raise her daughter. Now a widow, her daughter has a major health crisis that forces her to return to Europe for assistance. Her grandfather¿s solution is marriage to a business associate. _____ Damian Marquez is trying to obtain the title that was denied him at his birth. Marriage to Lia will give him that much needed prestige. _____ Lia agrees to the marriage believing that Damian will leave her once he takes her to their marriage bed. Damian is not like her late husband. He is more the willing to help Lia with her problems. _____ This book really touched me deeply. Lia intimacy issues were serious and real. Past doctors and her late husband compounded the problem for her. In Damian Lia found a true partner of her body as well as her heart. ___ Lucy Monroe packs a ton of emotion in this book. It will stay with you long after you are finished reading.

This wonderful love story so touched my heart. The storyline portrays the complete trust both characters learned to have in each other......it's just an incredible journey for Lia and Damian. Blackmailed Into Marriage is five stars and so much more! The story begins with Lia seeking assistance from her Spanish aristocratic family. She asks her grandfather for financial assistance in order to save her little girl from a heart defect. Her grandfather demands and blackmails her into marrying Damian to gain financial aid. Damian who is an incredibly proud man stands to gain acceptance into Spanish aristocracy though this marriage, plus heirs and respectability. However, on the first night of the honeymoon, Lia shares a secret which she fears will cause Damian not to honor his promise to help her daughter. It¿s of such magnitude that she¿s afraid her new husband will leave. From that night, this couple begin such a sensual and incredible journey into love and trust it will steal your breath away. Trust me, you'll just have to get the book. You won't be able to put it down.
