When Dara Ellis sets out to do research for a new article, she gets much more than she bargained for. Vampland is a hedonist's playground. I liked it alot. I loved the slight twist for the vampire. I enjoy reading Paranormal and Fantasy romance also. I'm new to Trey, but I acutally liked how he was not sure why he was what he was and what he did. To me it was fresh. I also liked the sexual tone and words chosen to describe the scenes. I also liked the shortness of this book, because the story told what it needed too.

I loved this book. I am a bit biased because Marie is one of my favorite authors. The only thing I can say is that it was too short. I would have loved to be caught up in the characters love story. The H character was strong and that little hint of vulnerability just made him irresistible. The h was querky and cute however the shortness of the story didn't give her time to really fall in love with him and explain why she would except him so fast. I still loved it. For a quick paranormal romance fix, I would recommend.

I loved this book...right up until the last chapter. How could have possibly ended so soon? The characters are engaging and well-developed, but towards the end I started to feel as if I had missed a few pages.I really wanted to learn more about Trey's gifts; I wanted to see more of how their relationship develops; I wanted, well, MORE. If a sequel ever comes out I will scoop it up immediately. I don't want to say too much, but the nature of Trey's gifts is a very unique perspective on your run-of-the-mill Vampire story.

This was just a short little novella but was good and sweet. And steamy. I liked the new take on vampires. I'm going to have to read some more books by Ms. Harte (this was my first).

I read alot of shifter and vampire romance. But this isn't the norm, you have a vampire with a purpose, that vampire's name is Trey, who owns Vampland, a club with a vampire theme that in reality is more than any regular club. Dara is a journalist who is writing about Vampland and it's more erotic side of things. The first scene is Trey "sending" a woman to the afterlife, so I really thought he was gonna be the bad guy, but instead he was the hero with a job from a higher source. You don't realize until later in the book that Dara has a physic ability to see the future and the past. After a steamy experience at Vampland, the two fall in love. I wanted to see what would happen next, but since it's a novella, it went by pretty quickly, but I definately enjoyed this twist on the normal vampire romance.

Simply loved this book. Another office scene, or maybe that privacy room, would have been even more orgasmic!
