Must Read For All Manga and Fans of Action Packed Comics!

Things are heating up for "Blade of the Immortal's" characters of characters. For almost two decades Hiroaki Samura's Edo period samurai drama has marched on brilliantly introducing incredible characters and fascinating situations with violence, elegance, and philosophically rich characterization. With only two more volumes to come before the conclusion to his epic run, Samura is bringing all those disparate characters together in a "ballroom blitz" of insane action and honor bound fatalism. This book and the series it is a part of represent all things to all people: graphic violence, historically accurate setting, beautiful artwork, endearing characters who are never purely hero or villain, and deeply philosophical dialogue. Start with volume one, "Blood of a Thousand," and enjoy the ride to this powerhouse volume.
