Amusing contemporary romance

His pals play cards for the honor of escorting Auntie Elizabeth. By losing, poor Jake Johnson earns the honors of escorting the old biddy around Beauville, Texas.
However, Auntie Elizabeth turns out to be a beautiful young woman. As Elizabeth has doubts about her niece marrying a cowboy, she and Jake begin to fall in love. However, can an urban easterner with a beach house on the Cape (Cod that is) find happiness on the Texas Dead Horse Ranch assuming she can catch the confirmed bachelor?
BLAME IT ON COWBOYS is an amusing contemporary romance starring two lead characters whose backgrounds and personalities make for an unlikely couple. The story line is fun, as Elizabeth knows she must retreat if she is to survive her short stay in Texas. Pookie, Elizabeth¿s Shih Tzu, adds to the humor with canine antics. Fans who want a lighthearted romantic romp will derive joy from Kristine Rolofson¿s contemporary tale while waiting for more ¿Blame It On ...¿ Novels.
Harriet Klausner
