Overview

Warning: If you haven’t experienced obliterating, complex-borderline-mental, transcendent kind of love—to the point of desperation—then this novel isn’t for you. Contains graphic sexual content, adult language and situation intended for MATURE readers only.

“I’m crazy about him, too. Bass has been this terrific, perfect guy. I’m scared how our relationship is going so fast, but it feels like it was meant to be that way… like being with him is never going to be simple or ordinary. I only have one heart, though. Sadly, it holds two men in it. One I want to keep, the other, I want to set free. How do I let the other free when he securely locked himself in, throwing away the key?” ~Emma, Frayed

Will they survive the tsunami of trials heading their way?

+ Bass Cole + Emma Anderson + Carter Mason +

Explosive.

Scorching.

Gravitating.

Intense.

Bass Cole only wanted a several things from Emma: Loyalty. Honesty. Trust. Love. What happens if none of these apply?

Emma was beyond glad to escape back to Aspasia and be with Bass again. After a disastrous weekend spent in London—turned into twisted mess after Carter’s persistent, over-bearing and unfaltering dedication to get her back—it seemed that the soccer-stud, Carter Mason was finally standing ground and started to fight for the woman he loves.

Suddenly, Emma found herself in a limbo when Bass started pressing for answers to questions she wasn’t ready to face herself. Little did she know that things were about to shift. Testing her limits as she fights her way out of the clustered mess she got herself into.

Meet the Author

Reading's been a major part of my life since I was ten years of age. At sixteen, I found out about Harlequin novels and I was a goner. I enjoy a good laugh and great company, but most of all I enjoy steamy and angst-filled romance novels. As much as I love to read, my second love would be traveling. I studied Fashion in London, England for two years and completely fell in love with the city. I like to weave the places I have been to in my books and make it come alive. Now that I have found writing, I sure hope not to stop :)

This author has got to stop writing from an Americans POV because she clearly does not understand our language and slang.

This is the second torn series book involving Emma. The conflicts in the relationships are repetitive and I find myself saying "really--again" I finished the book because that is my nature to see it through but it was a cliff hanger, with the third in the series coming out in August. I really dislike not knowing this first. Honestly do not know if I will bother reading the third (or last one?)

I was very disappointed after reading the whole series. It consisted of a group of poor, little, rich kids that do nothing but drink, and cheat and don't care about consequences. I think it sends out the wrong message to young people about infidelity, lying and drugs. No it is not ok to have sex when you are too drunk to know your own name. All the female characters in this series were a bunch of sluts, going back and forth between 2 men. Author failed miserably if this was intended as a love story. Cheating repeatedly is not love. Hello??

B&N contacted me to review Blasphemous. If I had realized that the next book in the series was still not available on the Nook I would not have purchased it. The next book of Emma came out in paperback back in Aug. of 2013, and is still not available on the Nook. I can not real regular books as I am visually impaired, and need the LARGE print on my Nook to be able to continue my favorite pastime which is reading. The story was good, had a lot of ups and down, but I really dislike the dishonesty of not letting readers know up front that the next book is not available on Nook.

Can hardly take reading Emma's conflicted heart.  Just put Emma and Bass together for a happy ever after.  Need more of their love affair. Marriage, children, successful careers. Please end my pain.

This book made me feel angry, nausea, love and tears. Seriously emotional roller coater. I'm not saying these are my favorite books to read because I get so heated in both good ways and bad ways. Ms. Ann evokes such emotion in Emma and Bass's story. I feel riotous at time. These books are not all lovey dovey, they show the hurt people can cause the ones they love the most. At times it's a bit much but honestly it would have made their story lacking. The passion of Bass and Emma is hotter than the sun. God I only pray it lasts! I am team Bass!

The book was great. Alot of back and forth, wanted to strangle characters for making the same mistakes repeatedly...only question I have at the end is what happened to Carter? Refuse to believe he gave up that easily. Want a #4 to see where everyone is, esp the shocker at the end. Can't end it on that!!
