I love Ms. Eden’s Angel series, and when I saw a friend reading this on Goodreads, I could not resist.
Ms. Eden did a great job with this Greek-God-finally-meet-his-mate story. Terese Lafitte, a newly turned vamp was in need to feed and wouldn’t you know it, she meets the Sun God, Apollo. And in most books I’ve read including this one, Apollo is portrayed bored and in search of a woman who will leave him enthralled. Terese did just that and brought him to his knees. But Ms. Eden did not make it easy on Apollo; she gives him an obsessive, powerful vampire as a hurdle and makes Apollo work hard to get his Happy-Ever-After (HEA).
It’s a cute short story. The characters and world building are good. You get a good gist of what is going on and you get a good amount of history of Apollo and his fam bam. We get to see a bit of Ares, Artemis and Poseidon, which is a great opening if Ms. Eden decides to write about them. My only complaint, and I always feel this way with short stories, is that there wasn’t enough time for the romance. It felt like it was a wham bam thank you ma’am and then you get the HEA. I would love to see more of this world and definitely would like to see more pages in these books.
Ms. Eden is great writer and I recommend this short for a light quick read as well as her The Fallen series which is one of may faves.

The book was more sex than story but depending on your mood that may not be a bad thing.

I really enjoyed this story and I can't wait for book 2 in the series. The story was very well written and very addictive. Once I started reading it was impossible to put down. I loved the story that unfolded between Apollo and Therese and fell in love with the way they were written.
It's not everyday you get Vampires and Greek Gods in one story. I'm glad that I read this one, and definitely recommend it. It's definitely one "HOT" read. :)

I've read a few of Cynthia Eden's Vampire Romance Novellas and while I was satisfied with "Bleed for Me", I was not terribly impressed. The inclusion of the Greek gods is an intriguing device and after reading this, I believe Ms. Eden is onto something. Greek gods fit surprisingly well into general vampire mythology (at least in my personal experience).
The novella is told from Apollo's point-of-view and I think this limits the reader's ability to sense any plot development. Unlike Ms. Eden's other work, the characters never seem to get beyond two dimensional. There are some sexy scenes, but I'm not sure that I will give it a second read.

If you are a fan of vampire relationships (hehe!) then you need to read this novel. Although it may be short in length, the story keeps you entertained until the end! Can't wait to read another book by Cynthia Eden,
