The first book was great and then I read the sequel and I couldn't stop reading. It was extremely hard to not read the whole thing in a day! Honestly I finished this book faster than I have with any other books so far. It's an absolutely great read and I highly recommend it.

    Book 2!

This is The sequel to the book Bleeding Heart. I agree with most of the people i know who have read it that it's much better than the first book. I loved Life Blood but after reading Bleeding Heart i love it so much more than i already did. The story is so complex and twisty that i couldnt put it down.

I do reccommend this book, if you werent a fan of life blood, read this book and give it another chance. S. Jean Brenner is a fantastic writer and i cant wait to see how she will continue to develope this story and expand it into a tale that will captivate me and other alike for generations to come!

    Bleeding Heart <3

This sequel to life blood was beyond amazing. I got to see a side of Aiden i would have never thought of. He is so touching and caring, things that Jane never has gotten to see. This completely passed my expectations. If you love romance and thrill this is the book to buy. I am a teenager and absolutely love it and adults should to. It has a story line that is different from all other books. It goes into depth and everything has meaning. The characters feel so realistic its like you actually know them. S.Jean Brenner has created a world of fantasy that will never be forgotten :)

I literally couldn't put down the book. This point of view was amazing and I ADORE this series. I haven't gotten Pure Blooded yet, but I can't wait to get it. <3 I'm sure it will be JUST as good as the last two books in this beautiful series.

    The best book evar written!

I was so moved, thrilled, stunned, and wowed by the first book in the Life Blood series that I couldn't imagine a sequel being able to live up to that amount of greatness. But I was so, happily, proven wrong! The sequel is even BETTER than the original!

When I received my copy of the book I was so nervous, my hands were shaking as I turned to the first page and there is now a small watermark on the corner of the page from where a bead of my sweat hit it. I was gasping for air, certain that I would faint from the excitement of reading another wonderful novel by S. Jean Brenner. But as I started to read, my breathing returned to normal and I realized with great joy that this book WAS as good as I was hoping it to be!

The incredibly talented Miss Brenner has woven yet another story using her unique style of writing that still bravely thumbs its nose at the common rules of grammar and sentence structure. I read the entire book in one sitting, unable to tear myself away from the unbelievable and amazing world that she had crafted for her lifelike characters. After I finished reading I fell to the ground and praised every god in existence that Miss Brenner had once again put pen to paper and shared her wondrous prose with the world.

I dare to dream that she writes a third novel that will bring the entire story together and ends this glorious series with a work that is most befitting!

Hoped it would get better...but I was wrong

I read the second book now hoping it would get better or the author might have done a better job than the first book. I was wrong. The book is filled with spelling and grammatical errors and the story still had no real plot. The story seemed like regurgitated copy of the first book. The characters have no real depth and I had to force myself to finish the book. Please go back to school and learn to write before writing another book.

No improvement from the first book

I was very disappointed to discover that the author had not improved in the slightest from her first "book". Mechanical and grammar errors galore, no character development, and the plot that wasn't just a rehashing of the first book wasn't very interesting. I hope that the author will take some time to work on her writing before she pens another novel.
